Bunnies & Burrows

Bunnies & Burrows 2nd ed

Hmm, I have no good game stories to relate. I'll talk about Bunnies & Burrows rpg, what little I have to relate. When I think of B&B I think of Watership Down, by Richard Adams. One person best described it as Lord of the Rings with bunnies.

I have only played one game of GURPS Bunnies and Burrows and I really liked it. The problem I have currently is that I don't really get to chose the exact games that come my way. Between the time pressure of GMing two tables, and life, I just pick up the best seeming games that I can.

Really awesome Player experiences are elusive (as is natural I suppose). I just have to play a lot to get good experiences. Arcade OD&D is next to perfect sometimes for a variety of reasons. It would be really interesting to try and get into a Mausritter game.

Lately the thought of the one possible B&B game I would like to Game Master is a high RuneQuest: Glorantha style of B&B, emphasizing the mythic. Actually on refection either FUDGE or FAE rpgs would probably work better.

The real problem is I don't have an adventure for the Bunnies. Moving was covered really well by Adams. Bucks finding Does was coved equally well. And alas I can think of no more Bunny adventures.

With a Glorantha Mash-up (Why Glorantha? That's where I find a lot of my energy going so it's kind of normal for me) the Bunnies could be seeking anything. To start a shrine (what's a Bunny shrine like?), a magic object (Do the bunnies have opposable thumbs?), a lot of other things become possible.

Unfortunately, this is as far as my mind will go with the Bunnies for now.

Shout out to my old GURPS group where ever they are: our GM B., my friends D., C., S., and R.
