The Pavis and Big Rubble group, play report. Session one.

In this session the players: Arax, the theist (a Daka Fal and Flesh Man initiate); Bala (an Inpala Tribe Praxian, and Waha Initiate); Jantos Red Spear (an Esrolian Lodril Initiate); Sarorik (a Sartarite Orlanth Initiate); and Sequester (an Orlanth Initiate of the Praxian Bison Tribe). All had entered Pavis at the same time, and met outside the front gate. Finding each other agreeable they began to travel the city to find lodging and stables for their mounts.

Jantos employed a Pavis street urchin to guide them. They found themselves guided to Homar's Fish in River Side for fish stew and lodging after stabling their mounts nearby.

Entering they debated who would pay for the first round of fish stew. Arax and Jantos both wanting to foot the bill, for the first round. The Urchin was retained on the promise of a bowl.

While waiting for their stew a Lunar patrol entered, and the astute group members noticed that their waitress left through the kitchen at that moment. The Lunar patrol asked every one to stay seated while they search the establishment for an something.

Moments later, the Lunars noted the the backdoor out of the Kitchen door ajar and pursued the waitress. The group began discussing what to do. Not long after a new server appeared with their fish stew, a heavily cloaked and hooded figure appeared in the doorway of the Tavern. The figure ignored the partys' hails to join them, and made directly to the Taverns kitchen. Again, the party noticed something was afoot as members of the Tavern's staff slipped away into the kitchen as well.

The Tavern's bouncer, a large, burley Storm Bull cultist positioned himself outside the kitchen. Sarorik, an Orlanthi headed for the kitchen to see what was up. The bouncer used some sort of ritual hand sign with Sarorik, and gestured him in. (As Game Master I decided on the spur of the moment that certain cults, who disliked the Lunars used hand signals among their members, Storm Bull and Orlanth cult among them). Arax attempted to go back to the kitchen and was told to stay outside by the bouncer (Daka Fal cultist's didn't know the hand signals).

Sarorik discovered in the kitchen that the waitress was; a) the Tavern owner's daughter, b) a member of the Powerful Pavis family, the Ingilis, and c) a thief. She tearfully told Sarorik that she had stolen a necklace sacred to the local River god, Zola Fel back for her temple. She didn't say from whom.

The Tavern owner offered a free season's room and board if the group could sneak her out of the city to the river, where she could pick up a boat and disappear into the River Folk for awhile. Sarorik agreed because he hated the Lunar's, and he would do anything to spite them.

Sarorik brought the idea to the group, and they agreed to it. In real life we hit time for the day and called it there.
